With the year's spookiest holiday approaching, the legendary horror film director has released an album of his iconic scores and is reportedly returning to directing for a new SyFy show based on his graphic novel series. He is best known for his influential 1978 slasher film Halloween, but Carpenter's scariest films have no relation to trick or treating.
