Look I'll be honest: I’m not really sure what this is supposed to be. A person named Tommy Stanfield posted it to their YouTube page and I’ve watched it several times in a row. Imagine if Harmony Korine directed a remake of Disney’s beloved animated film, Aladdin, and you're almost there. It is a brilliant piece of art, and also deeply unsettling — which perhaps is what makes it such brilliant art. Regardless, you'll never feel the same way about the adventures of Aladdin, Jasmine, and Abu after viewing it, and in my opinion that makes it essential viewing. Take that, Will Smith.
