These Vine recreations by high school teachers fill our hearts with joy
Update: The Vine recreations have been taken down. :(
I was just forced to delete a tweet with over 102K likes. dont ever talk to me again.

Borrowing and remaking was the ethos of Vine, and the proliferation of a phrase or a song led to some of the best Vines there ever were. But now that it’s gone, and Vine 2 is probably not going to be a thing, all we have left are 30 minute-long compilations on YouTube. That is until a good remix goes viral, like these high school teachers from Florida, who painstakingly recreated dozens of classic Vines for their students’ enjoyment. (Two edited clips were posted online by Twitter user @maddyysinger.)
There’s Oovoo Javer. There is a nearly dropped croissant. There is the shock of learning they were roommates, and much more. I can only imagine the coordination it took on behalf the students and staff to pull this off, but the result is a masterpiece. So go ahead, and relive the internet’s brighter days reenacted by these dorky high school teachers — and thank you, to the dedicated public servants who made this happen. I am eternally grateful.
