Well, this is fun. An artificial intelligence company is creating keyword-packed articles to fool Google, Motherboard reports:
A small company in Ohio called AI Writer has created a neural net that can churn out the search engine optimization (SEO) filler currently being created by content mills in places like India and the Philippines. And they managed to do it straight out of college on a shoestring budget.
The goal is to point these SEO-engineered pages toward a flagship website, signaling that the flagship is high quality and should rank higher in Google.
It doesn't matter if any human ever reads the odd-but-grammatically correct articles about diet pills and internet marketing. These computers are writing articles for computers.
AI Writer gives the computers in the network names, which are used to byline articles. You may read one and never know.
