“The original show was fighting for tolerance. Our fight is for acceptance,” says Tan France, the style guru of Netflix’s reboot of Queer Eye. When the original show aired in 2003, it was indeed a different time for queer tolerance and representation on television and across the world.

Now that the show’s been out, the reviews have poured in, and the internet has fully litigated the cooking prowess of Antoni Porowski, Outline staff writer Ann-Derrick Gaillot stopped by to chat with me about where the show lands and what a reboot can really accomplish.
