If a tree dies in the woods
California now has more than 102 million dead trees in its forests.
Scientists say a long drought coupled with high temperatures has killed them off.
"There’s not the infrastructure in place to take... on this quantity of trees," Stephanie Gomes, a US Forest Service spokeswoman, said.
