On December 31, the clock will strike midnight, a new year will begin, and a little less than half of the American public will resolve that they are going to be different in some way. Some will join a gym and probably never use it. Others will vow to quit smoking, or vaping, or whatever. But what is the likelihood that these resolutions will be kept?
