Anthony Scaramucci will be remembered for many things in the history books, should those kinds of books continue to be written: he packed a lot of expletives into a very short tenure as Communications Director for the White House under President Donald Trump.
It turns out that his laughably short tenure is in fact a record, at 6 days, beating out the previous crown holder by double. That was Jack Koehler who served for what now seems like a rather long term of 11 days under President Ronald Reagan.
The Trump White House seems to be fairly fickle overall, with White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus serving only six months before being ousted last Friday.
One of the true gifts of Scaramucci however, is that he managed to make his 6 days so full of excitement that indeed, it felt like he held the job for a much longer stretch. Quite a thing to add to his resume.
