The Fortune 100 companies that offer on-site day care to employees

According to research by The Outline, 17 companies have at least one on-site day care center.

On-site day care is a rare but coveted perk. Exact numbers are hard to find, but industry experts estimate that between 4 and 8 percent of employers offer on-site child care as a benefit. Out of the Fortune 100 companies, which are ranked by revenue, 17 offer some form of on-site day care, according to an analysis of public data by The Outline.

The "Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For" list includes 24 that offer on-site day care, but the companies on the Fortune 500 list tend to be bigger and better known.

It is important to note that many of these are only confirmed to offer an on-site center at certain locations. Fox has it on the studio lot, for example. Other companies offer it only at corporate headquarters. The regular folks working at the local Walgreens most likely aren’t getting the same perks.

Unfortunately this means that the people who are most burdened by child care are the ones least likely to have it. But a push for this perk at the top of the chain at the country's largest and wealthiest companies could encourage more employers to consider offering it.

Here are the Fortune 100 companies, which are ranked by revenue, that offer some kind of on-site day care, along with their spot on the list:
